Platinum prints have long been recognised as the most exquisite of all the photographic printing processes, they are not only exceptionally beautiful, with a great range of subtle tonal variations, but will last many generations greatly surpassing that of silver gelatine and current inkjet prints.
DC Editions is a specialist Platinum Printing Studio. We have been working with a broad range of photographic practitioners, from the leading fine artists to professional/commercial photographers in the country.
As well as creating exquisite single layer platinum prints on a variety of papers, we also offer the option of creating multi-layered platinum prints on aluminium and are the only platinum printing atelier in the U.K to be using this method of printing. This technique was used by the late Irving Penn who created some of the finest platinum prints in existence.
